The Fischer Racing Team is a German racing team named after their founder Ernhard Fischer. The Fischer racing team was formed in 2006 and is presently based in Paderborn, Germany.

Partnership with Aston Martin Racing and the FIA Championships:- At the end of the 2009 season, the Fischer racing team decided to partner British auto making company Aston Martin Racing in order to launch themselves into the inaugural version of the FIA GT1 championship. They changed their name from Fischer Racing to Young Driver AMR as the team to participate in the FIA GT1 championship. The line up of drivers who will be representing Young Driver AMR at the FIA GT1 championships are Darren Turner, Stephen Mucke, Tomas Enge and Christoffer Nygaard.

Early days – The Fischer racing team was formed to compete in the German SEAT Supercopa. Thereafter they have expanded to the German ADAC GT championships as well as the FIA GT3 European Championships. They have used the Ford GT to compete in the events of these races.

Recent Years – The Fischer racing team has set a scene for itself in the FIA GT3 European Championships in recent years. In 2009 the teams leading drivers Florian Gruber and Christoffer Nygaard won the second race of the series in the FIA GT3 European Championships.
