Reiter Engineering GmbH & Co Kg is a German racing team founded in 1994 named after their founder and co-owner German Hans Reiter. The team started competing in the FIA GT championships with a custom designed Lamborghini Diablo GT. The team replaced the Lamborghini Diablo GT with the Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT. They also started constructing the Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 to compete in the FIA GT3 competition. They also compete in the German ADAC Masters.
Racing History – The Reiter Engineering team has one of the most distinguished histories amongst the teams competing in the FIA GT1 championships. The team has enjoyed great success in the FIA GT championships with the most successful season being that in 2007 when the team won the opening race of the season. The team also participated in the FIA GT3 championships. The Reiters drivers won the Lamborghini masters cup. The team has also taken part in the German ADAC masters following their success in the FIA GT3 championships. The team won nine of their eleven races in the series.
FIA GT1 Championship: The team took part in the inaugural FIA GT1 Championship with the Lamborghini Murcielago. As one of the teams with a reasonable racing history Reiters was expected to do well but presently lie at fourth position with 67 points.
